The sunscreen made my skin look less oily and red. Much easier than applying a light base makeup to reduce redness with tinted sunscreen.
It is very lightweight which does not leave a sticky feeling on your face and stays dry in the humid weather. This is helpful in not clogging your pores or mixing with melted make up in the hot weather leaving you looking good throughout the day! The light tint also helps in giving some form of coverage if you do not intend to apply make up for the day.
The shade matches my skin tone (East Asian) with additional smoothing effect which makes my skin look better. I can use it alone when I don’t feel like putting makeup because it appears matte (eg on a normal day, when going to exercise). It is also unlike some popular western brands/Japanese brands where the texture is heavier and more suitable to use in colder weather.

I liked how the product stays on my skin with a clean matte finish! Even though I tried it on after applying really moisturizing (oily) skincare, the sunscreen was able to last for an entire day without reapplication, texture reminding me of that of a pore primer. The coverage is pretty decent for a sunscreen, and would suffice on its on for basic color correction. For complete coverage will recommend applying concealer over prominent blemishes on top of the product.
